Dashboard and Tasks

The Dashboard is your command center. Here you can see your assigned tasks, latest alerts, and shortcuts to projects. To change a task's status (e.g., to In Progress or Done), simply drag-and-drop it into the corresponding column in the Kanban view.

⚠️
Task Dependencies

Completing a task may unlock subsequent project stages for other team members. HUBAL will automatically send them a notification.

Dashboard widgets

The Dashboard is built from widgets placed on a 12-column grid — each one can be moved and resized. Edit mode is opened with the Layout icon in the sidebar (adding, removing and arranging by drag-and-drop). The layout is saved separately for every user, and if you want you can keep several dashboards (desktops), each with a different set of widgets.

ℹ️
Visibility depends on permissions

Activity Center (Admin) appears in the add list only for the administrator and the owner. Cash Flow — only for people with access to financial information. AI App — when the organisation has enabled that feature. For confidential areas the system automatically adds a separate Gantt Chart (confidential) — it is not picked from the list.

What each widget does

Today

The current day laid out hour by hour — within the working hours configured for the organisation. It shows reminders and everything scheduled for today; you can add a reminder for a specific hour and log an unplanned task that has just come up.

Tasks

Your task list in three baskets: overdue, for today and upcoming.

  • Drag a task tile onto the buttons in the widget header: one marks the task as done, the other postpones it (the new start date = today + the number of days you choose).
  • The Plan my day button asks the AI assistant to arrange today's order of work; if you don't like the result, an Undo plan button next to it rolls it back.
  • Clicking a task opens its details — description, files, comments.
Notes

A board of coloured sticky notes with a rich-text editor, folders and sharing. Full description in the Notes and Documents chapter.

Kanban

A board with three columns — To Do, In Progress, Done. You change the status by dragging a tile between columns; the change is saved to the task immediately and the whole team sees it.

Calendar

A monthly calendar in the style of Google Calendar. It shows the tasks assigned to you, milestones and reminders; you move between months with the arrows in the header. Once connected to Google Calendar, the widget pulls every Google event and sends to Google only what you choose: the green Google icon in the header opens a bar with three toggles Reminders, My tasks, Milestones (reminders and milestones are on by default) plus the Sync and Disconnect buttons. A switched-off type disappears from Google for the month you are viewing at the next sync.

Gantt Chart

The project schedule across the full width of the dashboard — the same chart as in the Gantt module, so deadlines stay in sight without switching views.

Weekly Plan

A matrix of the whole week: days in rows, projects in columns. Each cell shows the tasks scheduled for that day in that project — useful when you run several sites at once and want to see which day is overloaded.

Work Time

Work time tracking with a clock: Start work day, Pause (break), Resume and End. When you finish, the widget sums up how much you worked today. A day left running overnight is closed automatically so the counter does not run forever.

Cash Flow

The same cash flow chart as in the Financial Center — income, expenses and balance over time. The widget appears in the add list only for people with access to financial information; the data itself is guarded by the server, not by the interface.

Team Activity

A live view: who is working on what right now, whether the work is planned or unplanned, how many hours were planned and how many are left, and below that the five most recently completed tasks. The version for everyone — read-only.

Activity Center (Admin)

The same as Team Activity, but with the ability to control the team's work-time counters (stop or resume someone else's timer). Available to the organisation's administrator and owner only.

AI App

A mini-application generated by the assistant (e.g. a simple calculator or a request form) embedded directly on the dashboard. Available when AI Apps are enabled in the organisation.

Gantt Chart (confidential)

A separate schedule for a confidential area. It is not picked from the list — the system adds it automatically for people who belong to such an area and keeps its data separate from the other projects.
